Carpenter March 19, 1966 – December 23, 2021 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Mr. Kenneth “Kenny” Wayne Carpenter, age 55, of Pine Mountain, passed away December 23, 2021. He grew up in Atlanta, son of the late Paul Carpenter and Norma Jean Haygood. Kenny graduated from Fulton County High School. He earned his automotive mechanic certification from Flint River Technical College and owned and operated his own shop for over 40 years. He enjoyed working on cars and collecting guns. Kenney attended Silvertown Baptist Church in Thomaston. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Keith Carpenter and Kelly Carpenter. He is survived by his children: Cora Lewis (Joshua), Jessica Carpenter, Bethany Carpenter and David Bruce (Maggie); grandchildren: Leo Lewis, Evelyn Lewis, Grayson Adams, Aubree Adams, Coen Carpenter and Lilliana Grindle; step-sister: Shiela Baughcum. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., in Silvertown Baptist Church, 300 W. Goodrich Avenue, Thomaston. Pastor Paul Caspers will officiate.
