Kathy Lynn’s Obituary Kathy Lynn Grey, of Stevens Point died peacefully early Monday morning, November 1, 2021 at her home. Age 65, Kathy was born October 6, 1956 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Joanne (Young) Crumley. Kathy attended local schools in Southampton, PA. She lived in several different places throughout her life. Kathy loved God and learning about Him. She enjoyed listening to Christian music. She loved her church and the people in it. She loved to take trips out West, especially in the Badlands, South Dakota so that she could “shoot” scenic pictures to capture God’s creation. She took thousands of them. She experienced great joy during the last trip she took. Traveling with her best friend, Nancy, was a great passion in her life. She was an artist and loved to paint landscapes. She adored her grandchildren and looked forward to gathering for “Family Day” every week, which included many card and board games. She loved family meals together. In addition, she loved to ride amusement rides at local carnivals with her grand kids, even the wild ones. She was very generous when it came to gifts. She would always pick out that “special” gift for each person. Her grandchildren were her world! Kathy was a strong woman that exhibited great perseverance. She trusted God no matter the obstacle, including cancer. Her favorite advice was “Pray about it!” Kathy is survived by her two daughters; Valari (Mark) Hartmann, Stacey Nasim, and her eight grandchildren: Sapphira, Sam, Jordan, Dani, Jacee, Nathan, Azariah, and Mikai. Further survived by her siblings Kaye Crumley of Southampton, PA, Richard (Donna) Crumley of Tennessee and Karen Mohan of Doylestown, PA. Other beloved family members include Nancy Deming and Joan Constantino. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
