Obituary Justin Scott Thane, 33, a lifetime member of the Lapeer Community, passed away on December 8, 2021. Justin was born on April 13, 1988 in Lapeer to parent Mike and Tonia (Wilson) Thane. Justin was love, his bright smile was so sincere and when you were around him he could easily make a bad day a good one. He loved music, whether he was jamming out to Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey or listening to Praise and Worship, music always lifted his spirits. The only thing Justin loved more than music were his 9 Nieces and Nephews. It was the kind of love that you could feel in the room, he loved them unconditionally and they loved him the same. Even when he wasn’t opening his eyes in the last couple weeks, he did for them when all 9 came to see him almost as if to say “I love you” one last time. Family was his whole world and they will miss his warmth forever. Justin is survived by his loving parents: Mike and Tonia Thane; siblings: Amber (Aaron) McEachern of Lapeer, Hayley (James) Baerwolf of Lapeer and Adam (Christine) Thane of Lapeer; nieces and nephews: Spencer, McKinley, Oliver, Greyson, Chalmers, Benson, Preston, Kylee and Maddox; grandparents: Jerry and Dianne Wilson and Kay Stebbins. A memorial service for Justin will be held on December 18, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Emmanuel Church in Flint. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Church or the Family.
