Julia “Julie” Ellen Hemphill Duncan, 65, widow of Roger William Duncan, passed away November 2, 2021. A native of Greer, daughter of the late Mickey Hemphill and Dean Henderson Hemphill Price, she was an employee of Carolina Belting and a member of Fairview Baptist Church where she served as a longtime nursery worker. Surviving are two brothers, Mickey Hemphill of Greer and Smokey Price (Kelly) of Greer; three nieces, Anna Kate H. Kolesnyk (Stan) of Virginia, Kylie Semones (Adam) of Simpsonville, and Shelby Flynn of Greer; a nephew, Connor Flynn (Brittany) of Greer; great-nephew, Carter Flynn; and great-niece, Blakely Flynn. She was predeceased by her stepfather, Calvin Price, Sr. After a private family burial, a memorial service will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021, at Fairview Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Eddie Leopard and Rev. Scott Shipes. The family is at the home of her brother, Smokey Price. Memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church Children’s Ministry, 1300 Locust Hill Road, Greer, South Carolina 29651.
