Obituary Juanita Marie Moran, 90, of New Castle went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday October 12, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. Marie was born April 22, 1931, in Albany, Kentucky to the late Lige William Davis & Naomi Mattie (Guffey) Davis. Marie married the love of her life, George on August 16, 1950, and enjoyed 57 years of marriage until his passing in 2008. Marie was a lifelong member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church where she was baptized in the precious name of Jesus and filled with the Holy Ghost. She served as a Sunday School teacher, choir member and prayer warrior. She was a homemaker but told everyone “Jesus” was her boss. Marie enjoyed telling people about God, going to church, and crocheting, but more than anything, she loved spending time with her family whom she loved dearly. Left to cherish her memory are her children, George“Leon” Moran, Marlene (David) Wheeler& Felicia (Benny) Huckeby; grandchildren, David Shannon Wheeler, Scott Wheeler, Annette (Joshua) Beasley, Erica (Duane) Hall, Amanda (David) Garza, Amber (Michael) Nicolai, Carrie (Michael) Johnson, Jeremy Moran, Brian Moran, Jamieson Huckeby, Janeta (Roger) Godby, Loucinda Ford, Mackenzie Huckeby, Cammie Huckeby & Aaron Huckeby; 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; 6 brothers and sisters, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Marie is proceeded in death by her parents listed above, husband George; children Freddie and Tilford Moran and 5 brothers and sisters. A funeral to celebrate Marie’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 18, 2021, at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 131 S. 26th St New Castle, Indiana with Pastor Donnie Silvers & Rev. David Cole officiating. Friends may call on Monday at the church from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00pm. Burial will take place at Green Hills Memory Gardens, New Castle.
