Joyce Huffman of Denton, North Carolina December 18, 1944 – December 16, 2021 Mrs. Joyce Morgan Huffman age 76 of Denton died Thursday, December 16 at Mountain Vista Health Park in Denton. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, December 20 at Floyd Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Shane Smith and Rev. Derald Smith. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 2:00 until 3:00 Monday at the Church prior to the service. Mrs. Huffman was born December 18, 1944 in Montgomery County to Carson Morgan and Hattie Vanhoy Morgan. She was a member of Floyd Baptist Church. She had worked in retail sales and had been employed with Family Dollar and Walmart. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donnie Newsom, Jacob Huffman and George Goss. She was also preceded in death by her parents and by a brother Willy Morgan. She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Newsom Hampton and husband Randy of Clemmons and a stepson Dale Huffman of Denton.
