She was born May 22, 1932, daughter of Thomas and Nettie Stout Greenwell. Josie was a retired secretary for General Electric, 20-year volunteer at Norton Suburban Hospital and member of Salem Church of Christ. She is survived by her sisters, Nan Greenwell and Mary Mathis. Her funeral is 2pm Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Fern Creek Funeral Home with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is after 12pm Thursday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to her Salem Church of Christ or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
