Jose Luis Olvera Jr., 41, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday October 20, 2021. Visitation: 6-8pm Tuesday October 26, 2021 at Skyvue Victoria Chapel. Funeral Service: 2pm Wednesday October 27, 2021 at Skyvue Victoria Chapel. Jose “Joey” Luis Olvera Jr. was born on September 16, 1980 in Fresno, California. He is the oldest of five children to Jose Luis Olvera and Criselda Zuniga Olvera. In high school, he initiated the Wrestling Team at Trimble Tech with friends and his brothers. He majored in Media Technology and won 2nd place in the Film Festival. He graduated in 1999. Joey “GrindKing” encompassed his life in learning new skills and becoming a jack of all trades. While using his vast network of creative minds in photography, graphics, video productions, and music production GrindKing went on to become part of the DFW music scene. Believing in the talents of others, GrindKing was able to show his humbleness and drive to those around him. He built several music studios and his own website, GKradio.live. He leaves behind his wife, Diana Torres, four sons, Master Odin Sonoske Olvera, Dark Nocturnal Agony Olvera, Kyoshiro Saburo Olvera, Aizen Jin Katsuo Olvera, and daughter Aria Sonye Ryn Olvera. Mother and father Criselda and Jose Luis Olvera, brother Jacques Erik and wife Taynim Nalani Rose Johnson Olvera, brother Jonathan Lee Victor Olvera, sisters LaBelle Jeane Olvera and Jara Jade Olvera. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews Mailin Rai Olvera, Eli Xavi Olvera, Sapphire Rose Olvera, and Nelliel Steva Olvera.
