John’s Obituary John Lewis Jarrell, age 57 ,of Beckley, WV passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 after a long illness. John was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 14, 1964, and was the son of Nevie Jarrell Jr. of Beckley, WV and the late LaVerne Petry Jarrell. In addition to his mother, John was preceded in death by a sister Cheryl Jarrell; grandparents, Alice Price, Herman Price, Nevie Jarrell Sr., Virginia Toney, Ogden Toney, and Thomas Petry. Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his father, Nevie Jarrell Jr. of Beckley; brothers, Steve Jarrell and Greg Jarrell (Carolyn), all of Beckley; sisters, Martha Jarrell of Crab Orchard, WV, and Virginia Jarrell Bailey (Jim) of Roanoke, VA. A very special and loving friend, Lisa Ward of Talcott, WV. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and one great-great niece also survive. A memorial service will be held to Celebrate the Life of John Lewis Jarrell on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 1 PM at the Horse Creek Freewill Baptist Church at Horse Creek, WV. Zach Pandelios will be officiating and singing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Horse Creek Freewill Baptist Church in honor of John would be appreciated.
