Obituary for Jeanne Marie Cathcart Jeanne Marie Cathcart, 60, of Bay City, our loving and hardworking mother, daughter, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2021. Jeanne was born on September 20, 1960 in Bay City, the daughter of Edward and Patricia Cathcart. Jeanne graduated from Handy High School, class of 1978. She worked for over 30 years at Meijer in the deli department. Jeanne enjoyed going to concerts, crocheting in her free time, the casino, and tending to her garden. Jeanne leaves to carry on her legacy, her daughter, Trishia (Michael) Watson; mother, Patricia Cathcart; grandchildren, Nellie, Sonia, Wren, Julian, Roxanne, Esme, and Beatrix; siblings, Linda (Mark) Dombroski, Ed Cathcart, and Steve (Chris) Cathcart; niece and nephews, Brad, Thomas, Philip, Jacob, and Samantha, along with several friends. Jeanne was welcomed home to heaven by her son, SFC Michael Cathcart; father, Edward Michael Cathcart; grandparents, Lloyd and Nellie Peplinski, and Harold and Eleanor Cathcart. A private memorial will be held from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 PM on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Green Beret Foundation.
