Jarod’s Obituary Jarod Nolan Robeson, 29, of Virginia, IL, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021. He was born Sept. 1, 1992, in Galesburg, the son of Mike Robeson and Tamara Miner Osmer. He is survived by his father, Mike Robeson (Susan Reichert) of Rushville; his mother, Tamara (Tom) Osmer of Springfield; his companion, Iris Martinez and her two daughters, Serena and Sapphire, all of Virginia; and two brothers and two sisters, Jacob (Griffyn) Robeson of Virginia, Elise (Brandon) Hendricker of Montgomery, TX, Breanna (Rob) McGovern of Virginia and Luke (Sierra) Osmer of Virginia. Jarod graduated from Virginia High School in 2011 where he excelled at sports. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and mushrooming. He loved University of North Carolina basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals. He especially adored his nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Virginia. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, at Lawler Cemetery near Rushville. Memorials are suggested to his children in care of Elise Hendricker.
