1927 2021
Obituary of Jane Camp Camp, Jane Peters, 94, of St. Petersburg passed away December 14, 2021 at home in the loving care of her family. Jane was born and raised in Kentucky where she met and married Clifton (Cliff), her husband of 71 years. She was a wonderful mother to 4 adopted children: Dan, Tom, Pam & Emily, and several grandchildren. Jane held a contagious excitement about life. As a teacher (retired, Lealman) with a creative knack for all things home economics, when she wasn’t teaching students, she was teaching her tricks of the trade to her children, grandchildren, & even neighbors & friends, always with a smile on her face. She loved sharing with others the joy she felt over all of her favorite creative projects which included gardening, quilting, cooking, floral arranging, and hosting dinner parties. Jane was a very kind and giving person who was always eager to help people. She was known to say, “I’d be glad to!” anytime she was asked for help. Her personality was the perfect combination of strength, grace and sarcasm; a gift that she happily passed down to her children. Jane was beautiful, she was loved, she made our house a home. Jane’s graveside service will be Monday, December 20, 2021 11:30am at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. As Jane was a long-time member of The Garden Club, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to: The Garden Club of St. Petersburg, Inc., 500 Sunset Dr. S., St. Petersburg, FL 33707.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Jane Camp 1927 2021.
