Obituary Genevieve Ann Traube, 77, of Morton Grove passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Bella Terra Nursing Home, Morton Grove after a long battle with Parkinson’s Dementia. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Gad Traube; loving mother of son Kurt Traube and daughter Linda (Brian Schwarz) Mantell; dear grandmother of Haley Hidalgo, Hunter Mantell, and Zoe Schwarz; fond sister in law of Gerda (Fred) Salzberg; cherished aunt of Debbie (Steven) Salzberg, Herman (Sheri) Salzberg, Ben Salzberg, and their children. Special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Bella Terra Nursing Home in Morton Grove. She was a United States Army veteran where she met her husband, Gad. Family and friends will meet at the gates of Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. for military funeral honors. May the memory of her smile warm your hearts.
