Fred “Babe”‘s Obituary Fred J. (Babe) Huber 86, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 4, 2021, with his family at his side, He was born on January 25, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late George and Margaret Huber. Fred was a proud US Army Veteran. He worked for the state as a stationary engineer. He was a wonderful, dedicated husband of 62 years to his beloved wife, the late Lillian I Huber. Fred was a “Jack of all trades” and known for his witty personality. He loved hunting, fishing and trips to the casino. Fred was always on the move and adored being outside. His yard was immaculate. As all will miss him dearly, his family will cherish his memory forever. In addition to his wife and parents, his two brothers, Tucker, Hubie, and sister Dee, preceded Fred in death. Left to cherish his memory are his two children, Fred Charles Huber (Jody), Patti Huber and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116 on Friday, June 9, 2021 from 10 a.m-12 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 12 p.m with Celebrant, Ken Haselrig, Dovecote Missions, officiating. Interment will follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park, PA. Written Condolences are welcomed and encouraged.
