Unseen, unheard, yet always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear. (Author unknown) EVELYN SPURLOCK, a loyal New Orleans Saints fan, entered eternal rest on December 13, 2021. She leaves to cherish very precious memories to her husband, I. H. Spurlock, four sons: Isaac (Delerna), Kevin (Lillian), Wayne (Karen) and Carnell Spurlock; a Daughter Sylvia (Jimmy) Washington; and a sister Mamie Dell Terry of Houston, TX. Seven grandchildren: Delicia (Kevin) Turner, Reginald McQuarters, Wayne II, Alexus, Aneicia, and Cydni Spurlock and Brittany Williams; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephew, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Reginald Spurlock, and a brother Anderson Carter Jr. Funeral Services will be held at My Redeemer Missionary B.C., 2829 Washington Ave., New Orleans, LA with Pastor Sha’Teek Nobles, officiating, on Thursday, December 23, 2021. Visitation 10:00 a.m., Service 11:00 a.m. with Interment in Providence Memorial Park, Metairie. NO REPASS. Due to the New Variant, everyone is encouraged to wear a Mask.
