Evelyn’s Obituary Evelyn M. Lamson, 97, of Bangor, PA passed away Wednesday, August 25th, at her residence. Evelyn was born in South Bend, IN on January 27, 1924, a daughter of the late Charles K. and Julia (Cauldwell) Brannan. She was the wife of the late Spere Lamson who passed away in 1986. Evelyn was employed as a seamstress at the former Delaware Co. in Bangor, PA, for 30 years. She was a member of UNITE the garment workers union. In addition to being a great mother and grandmother, Evelyn was a talented artist and a very good cook. She enjoyed playing Pinochle, quoits, and doing crossword puzzles. Evelyn is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Minardo, Pattie, and Helen, and a son, Bruce Lamson, husband of Debrah, 3 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Stephen S. Lamson, a sister Mary, and a brother Harold. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. Bangor, PA. Online condolences may be offered at gaffneyparsons.com.
