Obituary Eleanor Marie Trimble, 91, of Monaca (Center Twp.), PA, went to be with her Lord on October 19, 2021, at home surrounded by her family. The daughter of the late John and Laura (Graham) Shomo, she was born on October 8, 1930 in Clearfield, PA. Eleanor married Wilfred (Mick) Trimble on October 29, 1947. She was a longtime member of Cresmont Alliance Church, where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and served her Lord in many ways. Eleanor held many different jobs in her lifetime, but being a wife and mother was by far her greatest joy. She is survived by eight of her children: Gloria (John) Bloyer, of Alexandria, VA; Gail (Jesse) Jordan, of Beaver, PA; David (Daryl) Trimble, of Aliquippa, PA; Cindy (Greg) Zulka, of Aliquippa, PA; Kim Trimble, of Alexandria, VA; Mark (Nancy) Trimble, of Industry, PA, Ron Trimble of Monaca, PA; Brian (Sue) Trimble, of Royersford, PA; 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters: Edith Goon of Jamestown, NY; Joann Pianelli of Uniontown, OH, and Joan Coble of Clearfield, PA. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mick on April 8, 1984; her daughter Cherie Marie on June 30, 1958; her sisters, Jean Bain; Mildred Johnston; Pearl Smith; Rose Gearhart; Beverly Buck and Phyllis Whitman. Eleanor’s family extends a special thank you to her caregivers, Mary Chapman, Mary Ann Dressler, Lisa Vendemia, Colleen Stobart, Bernice Ruffner, and the Mother Theresa Hospice staff. Friends will be received Friday October 22, 2021, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., CENTER TWP., 3475 Brodhead Road, Monaca, PA, 15061, where a service will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 10am, with Rev. Ross Fichter, officiating. Eleanor will be laid to rest privately next to her husband at Woodlawn Cemetery in Aliquippa. Read more
