Obituary Eleanor Jean Price, age 83, passed away December 27, 2021, at Metro Health Center in Cleveland. She was born November 13, 1938, in Nemacolin, Pennsylvania to Frank and Julia (Beregszassy) Bodnar. Eleanor graduated from Waynesburg College in Waynesburg, PA in 1960. She received her master’s degree in education from West Virginia University in 1964. Eleanor was a special education teacher. She taught at Clyde C. Hadden School in Painesville Township from 1960 – 1968. She also taught at Painesville Day Nursery and worked for the Painesville City School System until 2001. Eleanor played the clarinet and saxophone in many area bands. She married Charles Wayne Price on April 10, 1965, and they had two sons. Eleanor is survived by her sons, Timothy L. Price of Geneva and Darrin T. (Tracy) Price of Painesville; grandchildren, Maxwell Price, Andrew Price and Christopher Lee Price; sister, Helen Perkins of Tucson, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wayne Price in 2017, and her parents. A Celebration of Life for Eleanor will be held at a later date.
