Eddie’s Obituary Eddie Glynn Dobbs, 62, of Andrews passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in Lubbock, Texas. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 2:00 PM Monday, May 10, 2021 with Rev. Paul Fair officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 -8:00 PM at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 4:00- 6:00 PM. Arrangements are under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home. Eddie was born on October 12, 1958 in Odessa, Texas to Everett Perry Dobbs and Mildred “Millie” Lucille Sipes. He married Kala McGary on August 5, 1995 in Andrews, Texas. He graduated from Andrews High School in 1977 and was member of the Crossbar Cowboy Church. Eddie’s hobbies were talking a lot, cowboy cooking, hunting and going to a dance or two at the Senior center. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Eddie was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Diana Oglesby. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Kala Dobbs of Andrews, Texas, mother, Millie Dobbs of Odessa, Texas, daughter, Raechel Oglesby of Odessa, Texas, siblings, Janie Dobbs of Odessa, Texas and Terri Dobbs of Rockwall, Texas, nephew, Roy Morales III of Rockwall, Texas and mother-in-law, Becky McGary of Andrews, Texas.
