Obituary of Dovie Hazel Templeton Knight Ms. Dovie Hazel Templeton Knight, age 94, of the Fairview Community in Macon County, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, at Gallatin Center for Rehab and Healing. Funeral services for Dovie Knight are scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 1 PM, from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Ricky Vance officiating. Interment will follow in the Eulia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, January 1, 2022, from 12 PM until 9 PM, and on Sunday, from 10 AM until service time 1 PM. Ms. Dovie Knight was preceded in death by; Husband, Thomas Franklin Knight; Son, Darrell Gene Knight; Infant Son, Thomas Lee Knight; Daughter-in-law, Judy Knight; Granddaughter, Conchata Presley; Parents, Lawson Gray Templeton and Eunice Carr Templeton; Brothers, William Templeton and Douglas Templeton. She is survived by; Daughter, Murlene Hix and Harold Rollin Son, Jerry “Maude” Wayne Knight and Terry Lynn Daughter-in-law, Patty Knight Grandchildren, Jeff Hix and wife, Kim Joe Williams Michael Knight Jenny Powell and husband, Joel Racheal Gunter and Terrance Calhoun Thirteen Great-Grandchildren and Seven Great-Great-Grandchildren also survive.
