Dorothy Susan Fuller February 03, 1931 – January 20, 2021 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Dorothy Susan Fuller, 89 of Hampstead, MD passed peacefully on the morning of Wednesday Jan. 20, 2021 at the Longview Health Care Center in Manchester, MD. Born Feb. 3, 1931 in North Carolina she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Hazel Cannon Ayers. She was the wife of the late Keith Emera Fuller who died in 2003. Dorothy enjoyed walking, shopping, taking bus trips across the United States, decorating cakes and volunteering at her church. She loved teaching and caring for infants and toddlers as a volunteer in church nurseries for over 40 years. This love for children was tirelessly demonstrated in her selfless devoted care of her own children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was employed at the former Hampstead Sewing Factory and Random House as well as Weis Markets, but her priority was always her family and showing kindness to others. Dorothy was a proud member of the Ladies Auxilliary Drill Team in the 1950s. She is survived by her children, Bryan Keith Fuller, Sr. and wife Peggy and Susan Fuller Sies and husband Charles, grandchildren, Bryan Keith Fuller, Jr., Sarah Fuller Mainhart, C. Andrew Sies, Timothy Allen Sies, Christopher Aaron Sies, Ben Clair Fuller and Luke James Fuller and a sister: Sarah May Penton. She was blessed with two great grandchildren, Bryanna Lynn Sies and Miles Jalen Mainhart. She was predeceased by siblings: Betty Meckley, James and Edward Ayers. Due to the ongoing pandemic, funeral services and interment will be private. Friends and family can make donations in her honor to Littlest Learners Child Development Center at Carroll Community College or to the Church of the Open Door.
