Obituary Donna Marie Widger, formerly of Havertown, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully November 23, 2021, in Christiana Hospital, Newark, Delaware at the age of 73. Donna was born in 1948 in Philadelphia, the only child of Thomas W. and Marcella B. Mooney. Donna is survived by her husband of nearly 43 years, George Widger, Jr., daughters, Tara M. Santos (Rigoberto) of Salinas, Puerto Rico and Heather L. Lambert (Lisa Smith) of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, half-sister Joan Mortimer, stepson George Tempesta (Traci) of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, stepdaughter Dove King (Cody) of Chandler, Arizona, grandsons Justyn H. Hernandez of Newark, Delaware and Michael A. Crowder of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, and her step granddaughters, Savannah Powers of Phoenix, Arizona and Trina, Trista and Taylor Tempesta of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. Donna loved to travel, internationally to Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Aruba and domestically to Washington, DC, Key West, Las Vegas, Phoenix and others. She was formerly employed by several companies, including Almart, Professional Home Health Services and Blenheim Homes. She also served as the first Secretary/Treasurer of the non-profit organization, Friends of Pigeon Run Cemetery, an organization saving an 18th century cemetery near Red Lion, Delaware. Donna will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Her remains will be interred in a columbarium at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery.
