Obituary Rev. Dr. Dennis P. Brostrom, 71, Silver Bay, died Saturday, October 30, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Dennis was born to Donald and Marian (Johnson) Brostrom on March 15, 1950 in St. Paul, Minnesota where he grew up and attended school. He graduated from Northwestern College in St. Paul and Luther Seminary in St. Paul. He served his seminary internship in Warren, MN. Following his ordination, Rev. Brostrom served the Lord at Lutheran Churches in Cormorant and Twin Valley, Minnesota; Patterson, California; Bruce, South Dakota; Mahtowa, Minnesota and most recently in Silver Bay. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother James. He is survived by his wife, Karen; a twin-brother, David (Sue) Brostrom of St. Paul; a brother, John (Stephanie) Brostrom of Duluth; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Faith Lutheran Church in Silver Bay or Lutheran World Relief. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM service on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Faith Lutheran Church in Silver Bay.
