Obituary Lakeview-Daniel Dennis Denton, age 69, of Barryton passed away at his home on Sunday, October 17, 2021. He was born on January 5, 1952, in Libertyville IL, the son of Norman and Juanita (Lawson) Denton. Daniel was raised in Sparta where he attended school. He graduated from Adult Education in 1990 and continued his education at State Technical Institute in Plainwell. He was employed as a welder by Erwin Seating, AIM inc., and Bandit Industries before retiring in 2005. Daniel married the love of his life, Karen Voorhees on June 26, 1983, at the Amble Town Hall. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, reading, wood working, building model cars and spending time with his nieces and nephews, who he loved as if they were his own children. Daniel is survived by his wife, Karen of Barryton; nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James Denton; and his father and mother-in-law, James and Nancy Voorhees. The family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00 PM for a time of visitation on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview. There will be a memorial luncheon at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at the Millbrook Township Hall, 3015 Jackson Rd., Blanchard, MI 49310.
