Obituary Keith Cooper December 18, 1979 – October 20, 2021 Dallas Keith Cooper, 41, of the Gum Neck Community, died, Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Keith was born in Chowan County on December 18, 1979, to Charlie G. and Mary Sydenstricker Cooper. Keith worked in the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator and a carpenter. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Surviving in addition to his mother and father is a son, Akiva “Bud” Basnight; a brother, Steven Christopher Cooper (Rhoda) and a nephew, Dustin Cooper all of Columbia; three aunts and two uncles.
