Coye M. Gray September 24, 1951 – October 30, 2021 Coye M. Gray, 70, of Howard, WI, passed away peacefully with family by his side on October 30, 2021. Coye was born on September 24, 1951, to the late William and Bertena Gray in Winfield, Kansas. On September 29, 1979, Coye married the love of his life, Teresa (Watts) Gray. After graduating from Wichita State University, Coye went on to work for 36 years as a computer engineer for Boeing/Spirit before retiring in 2012. He enjoyed sports, coin and matchbook collecting, and playing the drums. Coye started playing the drums at an early age. He participated in High School competition and continued his passion playing the drums while attending college. Coye was a strong-willed man, which is what led him to persevere through life. He was funny, kind, and always provided for his family. He was a life-long supporter and donor of the Heart Association, and a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity at Wichita State University. Survivors include Coye’s wife of 42 years, Teresa; his children, Travin Gray and Justin (Jessica) Gray; grandchildren, Kanan Jore and Kenzi Gray; brother, Dennis (Kristen) Gray; sister, Marla (Roger) Edwards; sister-in-law, Alicia Glass; nephews, Shane Edwards, Travis Edwards, Tyler Gray, and Athan Glass; and nieces, Crystal Gray-Peete and Ayla Glass. Coye was preceded in death by his parents and parents-in-law, Edward and Gertrude Watts. A private service will be held for the family.
