Obituary Charles Raymond Powell, age 90, passed away December 20, 2021. He was born September 27, 1931 in Bimble, Kentucky, son of the late Carlo and Louise Powell. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Helen; his loving children: Larry (Cate) Powell, Dennis (Sherry) Powell, Tearl (Carole) Powell, and Ken (Allison) Powell; his grandchildren: Noah (Amanda) Powell, Rachel (Brett) Ledbetter, Tearl Powell Jr., Louie (Erica) Powell, Sylvia (Aaron) Brown, Jacob (Marissa) Powell, Sarah (Luke) Brubaker, Abigail Powell, and Jesse Powell; great-grandchildren: Ethan, Mila, Jayden, Joey, Marie, and Serena. Charles in also survived by his brothers: Luke Powell and Henry Powell. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers: Coleman Powell and Ernest Powell. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 28 from 11:00AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00PM at PHILLIPS FUNERAL HOME, 122 West Lake Street, South Lyon.
