Obituary Catherine M. Garber, 92, of Miami, FL and formally of Berwick, PA, passed peacefully on April 27th, 2021 in her home. Born November 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Theresa (Gianella) DiPasquale. She was the last surviving member of her generation. A graduate of Berwick High School, she was employed in her early years at Jordan Marsh Department Store. She enjoyed hosting numerous family members and friends at her home in Miami, and was an avid and accomplished square dancer. Preceding her in death was her husband Reuel Garber and her five brothers: Louis DiPasquale, Angelo DiPasquale, Joseph “Jiggs” DiPasquale, Peter “Pierre” DiPasquale, Nicholas DiPasquale; and two sisters: Anna Stalega and Connie Pastore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 6 at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 721 Monroe Street, Berwick, PA with the Rev. Matthew Larlick officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetary, Berwick. Arrangements are under the direction of Mayo Funeral Home in Berwick. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Catherine M.
