Obituary C. Earl Bowden, Jr passed away in the early morning hours of December 4, 2021, with his wife by his side. He was a well-known realtor in the Tidewater area of Virginia to which he was native. Then later in life spent many happy years living in the Virgin Islands. The last decade of his life spent in Charleston, South Carolina. In is youth, Earl was an avid surfer and music lover who always loved to be near the ocean. He leaves behind his loving wife Suzanne, his sons Chris and wife Jennifer, John and wife Jenifer, as well as three stepchildren, Scott, Dale, Jessa, and their families. He always considered all of the children to be his own. His most proud legacy was his children, is 16 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren with another on the way. He was a much-loved and honorable man, a friend to all he met, and he will be greatly missed. A private memorial for the family will be held at a later date.
