Taunton, age 72, passed from this life December 26, 2021 at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay, Florida. He was born in Westville, Florida on September 30, 1949. Bobby was a retired boat Captain. He is preceded in death by his mother; Dorothy P. Taunton. Bobby is survived by his wife; Joyce Taunton, his son; Bobby M. Taunton Jr. and wife Kelly, his daughter; Laurie Bess and husband Tony, his grandchildren; Christy Taylor and husband Justin, Skylar Bess, Caitlyn Taunton, Trista Bess, Hunter Taunton, Koleton Taunton and Kelcei Taunton, and two great grandchildren; Jolee and Rylee Taylor. A private service will be held by the family at a later date. A special, “Thank You”, to the staff and doctors at Doctors Memorial Hospital for the care to Bobby while he was there.
