Beverly’s Obituary Mrs. Beverly Joyce Tibbits Lasher, age 85, a resident of Cypress Landing, Chocowinity, died Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at her home. Private graveside services will be held. Mrs. Lasher was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 16, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Roy Delmar Tibbits and Nellie Brand Tibbits. Mrs. Lasher was a retired elementary art schoolteacher. She resided with her husband in Cypress Landing for the past 22 years. Mrs. Lasher was a former member of the Women’s Club at Cypress Landing. She enjoyed painting and making jewelry. Mrs. Lasher has shown her artwork at numerous local and regional art and craft shows including those at the Turnage Theater. On June 22, 1957, she married Richard Earl Lasher, who survives. Mrs. Lasher is survived by her husband, Richard of the home; two sons, James Lasher and wife, Ayumi Yasuda of Baltimore, MD; Kevin Lasher of Norlina, NC; daughter, Kathe Dellacecca of Villa Park, IL; and seven grandchildren, Emilia Dellacecca, Samuel Dellacecca, Forrest Lasher, Lily Lasher, Robin Beaumont, Emika Lasher, and Yuika Lasher. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lasher was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
