Bessie’s Obituary Funeral services for Bessie L Stogner, 88, of Tylertown, MS will be held at 12 noon on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Hartman-Hughes Chapel with Brother Archie Herring officiating. Ms. Stogner passed away at Diversicare in Tylertown, MS on Saturday, February 13, 2021. She was born September 24, 1932 in Walthall County, Mississippi to the late Lula and Jessie Stogner. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her son; and brother Jessie Stogner. Bessie was a great cook. On the weekends when her sisters and brother would come home, she would cook biscuits and bacon for them. Later in the day you could find them all sitting on the back porch enjoying fellowship, cake, and coffee. Survivors include her sisters Louvenia Woodard, Ethel Beard, Gracie Inez Martin, Myrtis Rowell, Kathleen Barker, and Mary Lunn; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.
