Benny’s Obituary Benny Ray Prestwood, age 37 of Lenoir, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Caldwell County on September 2, 1984 to Walter Sydney and Marlene Winebarger Prestwood. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his parents include the mother of his children, Teneya Richie and husband Kurt of Granite Falls; two sons, Benny R. Prestwood, Jr. and Bryson Peterman; two daughters, Hailey and Hannah Prestwood; two sisters, Tasha Prestwood Kincaid and husband Joe and Megan Prestwood both of Lenoir; one niece, Kelsie Kincaid; one nephew, Landon Kincaid; and numerous beloved friends.
