Obituary Arthur Swarthout, Jr., age 67 of Paris, TN, died Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris. He worked for several years at Pella Corporation in Murray, KY. Arthur was a member of the NRA, loved shooting, and enjoyed trading things, especially guns. He loved old clocks and watches and enjoyed fishing and being out on the pontoon boat. Arthur was born May 31, 1954, in Lansing, MI, to the late Arthur Thompson Swarthout, Sr., and the late Sylvia Troupe Swarthout. He was married May 27, 1978, to Jo Ellen Pendardis Swarthout, who survives, of Paris. Along with his wife, he is also survived by one daughter, Laura Koumoullou of Paris; one son, Joseph (Angela) Swarthout of Murray, KY; two sisters, Tina (Allen) Haslyn of Owosso, MI, and Violet (Anthony) Robinson of Durand, MI; one brother, Jay Swarthout of Owosso, MI; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sons, Adam Frank Swarthout and Kenneth Swarthout. Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. The body is to be cremated with no services scheduled at this time.
