Obituary Ariana Marie Hamlin Devoted Mother Ariana Hamlin, 34, of Canton, passed away on December 29, 2021, at Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde. Ariana was a loving and devoted mother that would do anything for her son. They enjoyed going places and spending time together. She loved spending time with her friends and family on Facebook and going out to eat. She was full of life and loved by many. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Myrtle Waldroup and great grandparents, Robert & Ruby Lail and Elmer & Fuchsia Davis. Left to cherish Ariana’s memory are her 9 year old son, Bentley; parents, Michele Bodendorf (Rickey Hensley) and Keith (Deborah) Hamlin; grandparents, Danny and Patricia Lail; sister, Brittany Bodendorf (Bernard Moore); nephews and niece, Gabriel Isaac, Bernard, Jr., and Evelyn Rose; half-brother, Caleb Hamlin; step-father, Mark Smathers; friend whom was like a second mother, Sharon McCollum; two uncles, Tim (Tammy) Lail, Shane (Mandy) Lail; one aunt, Leslie (Jody) Smith; one great uncle, Leon Davis; Bentley’s half-sister, Samantha (Gregg) Baldwin; along with numerous extended family and friends. A Celebration of Ariana’s Life will be held at a later date.
