Obituary Alan Francis was born January 12, 1956, to Nathan and Julia (Magnus) Francis. Alan passed away on December 1st, 2021, near his home in Centennial, CO. Alan was born in Lynn, MA and graduated from Swampscott High School in 1974. He was a high school athlete, playing both hockey and football. After high school, he attended college at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, graduating in 1978. During college he met his eventual wife Beth in Boston in 1974. They married in July of 1978 and remained lovingly married for 43 years until his passing. Alan worked as a software engineer, making lifelong friends, in both the airline and financial industries. He was an avid sports fan, both cheering for his hometown Boston sports teams, and coaching youth sports for his children. He is preceded by his father, Nathan, and mother, Julia, brothers Lenny, Bob, and Ralph, and sister Irene. He is survived by his wife Beth, sons Nick (Lauren) and Robert, his 4 grandchildren, Elena, Rosalie, Juliet, and “Little” Alan, and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a Rosary/Wake on Monday, December 13th at 6:00 PM at Drinkwine Family Mortuary. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, December 14th at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church.
