Obituary of Ada Ruth Dohl Whitmer Ada Ruth Dohl Whitmer, infant daughter of Shawn and Megan Gardner Whitmer, died Sunday November 7, 2021, in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA. Surviving besides her parents of Jamestown are grandparents Debra Miller Gardner of Falconer and Timothy and Sandra Whitmer Dohl of Falconer; great grandparents David and Beryl Miller of Jamestown and aunts and uncles Sean (Amy Lang) Gardner, Erin (Neil) Goldberg, Emma (Jason Brunecz) Gardner, Brian (Jeannie) Dohl and Melody (Daniel) Overend. Ada was preceded in death by grandfather James Gardner and great grandfather Bert Dohl. A private graveside service will be held in Lake View Cemetery at the convenience of the family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Community Helping Hands, 31 Water Street, Jamestown, NY 14701.
