Obituary Born April 19, 1971 Son to Frank and Janet Boron. Father to Samuel, Paul, Jack, James. Brother to David (Alissa), Stacey Kuehner (John), Kate Parker (Matt Two Hats), Claire Rogers (Frank), Ethan (Amber). Uncle to Caitlin, Joe, Jostahn, Vivihn, Robert, Frank, George, Helen, Stella, Franklin, Hazel. Nephew to Helen (Sissy) Flak. Friend to many In 50 fast years, Aaron Michael Boron, known to his friends as Buzz, touched the lives of thousands through his church, music, paintings, and his family business. Through God’s grace, Aaron (Buzz) was blessed with the abundant gift of creativity. Buzz was authentic. One of a kind. Genuine. He did not worry about what others thought of him or his work. This allowed him to push boundaries and get to places others were afraid to go. Buzz grew up on Belle Avenue in Lakewood, Ohio. He attended St. Clement’s grade school and St. Ed’s before graduating from Lakewood High School. His early years were dominated by sports. He was a good athlete and loved to follow all the local teams. He loved to listen to Herb Score call the Indian’s games on the radio with his brothers as they fell asleep side by side next to the fan in the sweltering attic. He was a natural golfer. A feel player. A feisty competitor. Buzz started a family early and raised four young men that are now entering the world as adults. Each of his children have their own unique bond with their father and talents to match. He loved them so much and was filled with pride whenever he talked about them. Painting and music became his passion from his high school years through the rest of his life. He wrote hundreds of songs and performed all over the country. His primary band was the local indie rock band the Duvalby Brothers which started in the early 90’s and continued in various lineups for over 30 years. He was a prolific songwriter and lyricist until the very end. His songs will continue to be enjoyed by thousands. Though he preferred writing songs, perhaps he was an even more gifted painter. He did not produce as many paintings as songs but when he did they were coveted by whoever viewed them. Those who were lucky enough to get their hands on one of Buzz’s paintings never let it go. Professionally, Buzz spent the past 20 years as the creative force in marketing and sales at his family business. He was a favorite with our customers as he loved to visit and talk with them. He was one of those people that are naturally funny. Aaron could also skillfully run all of the production equipment and was a willing volunteer when needed. Like his father Frank, Buzz had an entrepreneurial spirit. He pushed us forward with his big ideas, persistent challenges and enthusiasm. What he brought to our business is as indescribable as it is irreplaceable. But above all Buzz’s greatest passion in life was his belief in Jesus Christ and being a devoted servant through all his God given talents. He used his gift of music to send the message of faith in Jesus, never conscientious about what his peers in the indie rock world would think. He lived simply and devoted his life’s work to the Lord. He was active in church communities for the past three decades. The Word of God becoming more and more his focus and devotion during these years. He enjoyed nothing more than sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ’s redeeming Love to whomever would listen. Buzz’s faith was certain, unwavering and inspiring. Buzz had a special bond with our pops. Now they are together again with the Lord. So in closing, we sing to our beloved brother Buzz, the song that he wrote to our Pops after our final golf trip to the Ocean Course… Lulabye for Pops As I walk to the green off the eighteen tee I think about you… And the salt spray breeze floats my ball to the sea What a summer… When I talk to my son bout the man on the run I think about you… And there’s no easy way but to learn from mistake Like a father… Only I know you know I know it’s time to go And if I don’t ever see you again then Promise me you’ll say goodbye… Promise me you’ll say goodbye… When you hear this song know all along that I love you… Rest In Peace our brother, father, friend. We will remember you with joy in our hearts and smiles on our faces when we hear your songs, see your art, and visit with your boys. Know that we love you.
