Vickie’s Obituary Oakdale-Graveside Services for Vickie Clark Angel, 71, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Pecan Grove in Cypress Creek. Rev. Allen Johnson will officiate. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes. Vickie was a school teacher in Allen Parish for thirty-three years before retiring in 2007. She was loved and respected by all of the teachers she taught school with, as well as, cherished by all of the students. She loved going to church and was very faithful to read her Bible. Vickie loved spending time with her family and friends. She was known throughout the community for her love and generosity. Vickie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her; especially her neighbors who would sit on the porch for their special visits. Vickie had a special place in her heart for Tinsley Tatum, she loved her dearly and wants her to always remember that. Those left to cherish Vickie’s memory include her son, Bruce Wayne “B.W.” Angel and wife, Anna; brother, Dwain Clark and wife, Lynette; sister, Martha Johnson and husband, Nathan; three nieces, Sarah Simon and husband, Ryan, Jennifer Hughes and husband, Lance and Katie Sanford and husband, Jeff; five great nephews; and three great nieces. Vickie is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Kathleen Clark; and grandparents, Tom and Effie Clark and Everette and Belle Parker. Pallbearers honored to serve are-Joshua Hughes, Lance Hughes, Noah Simon, Ryan Simon, Eli Simon and Jeff Sanford. Read More
