Terry Dianne Thompson (Watts), age 75, of Troy passed from this life on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at her home. Terry was born in San Diego, California on the 9th day of February 1945 to parents Jesse Monroe Watts and Johnnie Honeycutt. As a child growing up Terry attended school at Troy ISD. Terry married her love Ernest Thompson on September 15, 1961 and the two went on to start a family. She has been a resident of Troy for the past 47 years of her life. Terry was a faithful member of the East Hwy Baptist Church where she was the pianist for the church. Terry loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren any chance she had. In Terry’s free time she loved to read books, craft, and watch the birds as they danced around. Terry will be missed dearly by her friends and family. Terry is preceded in death by her parents Monroe and Johnnie Watts, and grandson Matthew Morgan. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Ernest Thompson, two daughters Elizabeth Fabianke and husband Gaylon of Troy and Melissa Tippen and husband Scott of Belton, and three grandchildren Luke Morgan of Austin, Samantha Tippen of Indianapolis , and Garrick Fabianke of Colorado City, TX. A private funeral will be held. Hewett- Arney Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
