Teresa Mitchell (Greenfield Chapel) November 07, 1957 – September 12, 2020 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Graveside service for Teresa Mitchell age 62 of Greenfield, TN, will be held Tuesday September 15th at 3 p.m. at Brock’s Cemetery in Greenfield. Visitation will begin at 2:30 at Brock’s Cemetery and go until time of graveside. Teresa was survived by her husband Danny Mitchell of Greenfield, daughter Beth Graves and husband Brent. She also leaves behind sister Faye London of Greenfield, and brother Lawrence London of Dyer, and one granddaughter Maggie Graves of Greenfield. She was preceded in death by her parents William “Billy” London and Margaret Dycus. One in a million, that’s how many have described Teresa. Teresa was a loving and devoted wife to Danny for 45 years. She was also a doting mother to Beth. Teresa was an incredible “Gaga” to her granddaughter, Maggie. She was a nurse for over 40 years for the residents in Weakley County and the surrounding areas. She worked for Dr. Michael Hinds for over 30 years of her career, and took pride in taking care of her patients. She never met a stranger, never denied anyone help that needed it, and never let anyone go through hard times alone. Teresa had many friends that she cherished deeply. To know her was to love her. Her favorite things to do were to be with Danny, whom she lovingly called “Shug”, go to the beach with her family, and spend every day loving on her sweet Maggie.
