Tanner’s Obituary Tanner Allen Macy, 26, of Roanoke passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at his residence. Tanner was born January 2, 1994 in Fort Wayne a son of Todd Macy and Tammy (Honigford) Macy. Tanner was very musically inclined and learned to play guitar at a very young age. He had a heart of gold and infectious smile and loved everyone and knew no strangers. Tanner graduated from Homestead High School in 2012 where he was on the golf team. He spent his summers at Orchard Ridge Country Club where his family was members. Surviving are his parents; twin brothers, Brady and Brenden Macy; sister, Kyra Frost; and nephew, Zane, all of Roanoke; grandparents, Patrick and Rebecca Kelly of OH and Jack & Marty Macy of South Whitley; and many aunts; uncles; and cousins. He was preceded in death by cousins, Tyler Hart and Greyson Macy. Funeral service is 11:00 AM Friday, September 18, 2020 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with visitation one hour prior. There will also be visitation at the funeral home Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM with a prayer service beginning at 6 PM.
