Mr. Roy D. Stewart, 86 of Clinton passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center. He attended the Clinton First Assembly of God, was a United States Army Veteran and had worked as a machinist for Caterpillar in East Peoria, IL. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruby Ann Cox Stewart of Clinton, daughter, Cassie Stewart (Paul) Hull of Manito, IL, son, Christopher K. (Sharlet) Stewart of Clinton, 6 grandchildren, Skylar, Carissa, Seth, Ciara, Brianna and Jacob, 4 step-grandchildren, Erica, Eric, Amber and Jennifer and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Arthur Stewart and Lillie Frances Carter Stewart Graves, 1 brother and 1 sister. Graveside services will be held Friday, September 25, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Strong officiating.
