Obituary Robert Lee Reed, age 77, a resident of Portland, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020, at his home in Portland. Robert was born July 8, 1943 in Mishawaka, Indiana the son of Vernor Reed and Irene Cooper. Robert served in the US Army for over 23 years and worked at the United States Postal Service in Phoenix, Arizona. He married Diana Sue Carlen on October 18, 2014. Survivors Include: His loving wife: Diana Sue Reed – Portland, Indiana 4 daughters: Kimberly Avina – Phoenix, Arizona Melissa Willard – Avondale, Arizona Lorie Fuller – Ft. Recovery, Ohio Bran-Dee Fuller – Lebanon. Ohio 3 sons: Ronald Reed – Phoenix. Arizona Chuck Reed – Rome, Georgia Kenneth Fuller – Geneva, Indiana 3 sisters: Nancy Delindt – San Jose, California Jean Ontiveros – San Jose, California Cynthia Bales (husband Ron) – Flagstaff, Arizona 4 brothers: his twin brother Richard Reed (wife Diane) – San Jose, California Don Reed (wife Kay) – Phoenix, Arizona Larry Reed – Phoenix, Arizona Stanley Pedersen – Maricopa, Arizona 29 Grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren A military rites ceremony will be held Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the residents of 9340 S. 275 E. Geneva, Indiana 46740. Portland American Legion Post 211 will be in charge of Military Rites.
