Graveside service for Rita B. Schulz, 88 of Douglas, will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Union Cemetery in Douglas with Pastor Cathy Graber officiating. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. Rita was born October 31, 1931 in Oklahoma City to Tyree and Cora (Leabo) Adams and passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Hennessey Care Center. Rita attended and graduated from Pioneer School. She married Harold Schulz on August 30, 1949, at Pleasant Valley Christian Union Church. They made their home in the rural area of Douglas for 61 years. Rita was a homemaker and also a cook at Pioneer-Pleasant Vale High School. She was an active member of the Pleasant Valley Christian Union Church. Rita is survived by her daughter Diane Schulz of Washington, IL, 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and 2 nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold, her daughter Darla Hardaway, her granddaughter Cortney Hardaway, and her sister Charlotte (John) Morris.
