Marshall’s Obituary Marshall Alan Gray, 63, of Beaumont, Texas passed away Monday, September 29, 2020 in Beaumont, Texas. Alan was born on August 16, 1957 in Liberty, Texas to C.E. Gray and Annie Bly Gray. Alan enjoyed fishing and spending time on the lake. He is survived by a brother, Charles L. Gray and wife, Bonnie of Beaumont, Texas; aunts, Claudine Vance of Yellowpine, Alma Roberts of Scrappin Valley, and Frances Connor of Hemphill. He was preceded in death by his parents, C.E. Gray and Annie Gray; and his grandparents, Marshall and Zuma Bly and Tom and Winnie Gray. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2020 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Buddy Pratt officiating. Burial will follow services in Yellowpine Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Barry Rogers, Barry Vance, Lanice Harper, Richard Polland, Chucky Adair and Chris Gray serving as pallbearers.
