She was 81. Peggy was born on April 29, 1939 in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of Edward and Rose Marstall Hutley. She married John Bernard Clark on February 11, 1961 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Mary’s, Kansas. He survives. Survivors include: husband, John of the home; sons, Pat (Lori) Clark of Emporia, and Scott Clark of Lexington, Missouri; daughter, Vickie (Joe) Orzel of Emporia; grandchildren, Mandi Beyer, Johnny Clark, Joey Orzel, Jake Orzel, Josh Orzel, and Justin Orzel; great-grandchildren, Avery Beyer, Maddex Beyer, Hunter Clark, Knox Clark, Persephone Orzel, Reagan Orzel, Jazalyn Orzel, Cullen Orzel, Elise Orzel, and Lilli Orzel; brother, Jerry Hutley of Topeka; sisters, Juanita Krilich of Lansing, Illinois, Karen Griffin of Omaha, Nebraska, and Kay Payne of Topeka. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Richard Hutley, Vincent Hutley, Leo Hutley, and Ervin Hutley, sister Agnes Bernritter, and grandson Bentley Clark. After completing high school in St. Mary’s, Kansas Peggy moved to Topeka and worked at Merchants National Bank. After the three kids started school Peggy went to work at Woolworth / Woolco and was the personnel manager until joining John at Clark Carpet and Tile until retiring in 1998. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and TOPS. Cremation is planned with a service to be announced later.
