Margaret’s Obituary Margaret A. Batka, 83, of NJ, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020, in her home. Margaret was born in Queens, NY, a daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Baggio) Casaletti. Margaret was married to John “Jack” Batka, Sr., until his passing in 2015. She was a member of St. Ann Society in Brooklyn, and was very active in her children’s schools while they were growing up. Margaret is survived by a son Peter Batka and wife Susan of Old Bridge, NJ; a daughter Jacqueline Lydon and husband PJ; sisters Rose Marie Cannao of Baldwin, NY, Rita Giarratano of Port Saint Lucie, FL; grandchildren Casey, Kelly and Jillian Lydon, Andrew Nelson, Nicholas, Vincent and Louis Batka, and Nichola Batka; great-grandchildren Alexa Batka, and James Lydon. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers Joseph Casaletti, Fred “Jr” Casaletti; sons John, Michael, and James Batka; and grandson John Batka. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), with a funeral service at 7:30 pm in the funeral home.
