Linda J. Mullen of Philadelphia passed away on September 25, 2020 at the age of 67. Linda was the beloved wife of Daniel Mullen for 43 years, loving sister to James Boyd (Jessica), and dear aunt of Scott (Mary) Boyd and Elizabeth (Jamie) Waldrep . She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Jane Boyd. Linda was a longtime member of the Rhawnhurst Presbyterian Church (Philadelphia) where she was married. She worked for the FMC Corporation as an Order Fulfillment Manager (later to becoming Tronox Corp and then Genesis Alkali. She worked for the same employer for forty one years and was noted for her dedication to the company as well as her customers. Linda had a genuine creative skill that she used for crafts, decorating and dressing. When putting together her outfits it was important to Linda for the colors to coordinate well. She was a “matcher”. This quality, for which she was known was inherited from her two dear Aunts, Aggie and Mazie. Linda was an avid and dedicated fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, a pastime that enjoyed especially when watching the games alongside her father which continued even after he went to live in the Penna. Veteran’s Home. Linda was genuinely and fiercely devoted to her family, taking exceptional care of her parents and her aunts, as well as encouraging her family in South Carolina. Special thanks to the staff at Jeanes Hospital/Fox Chase Bone Marrow Transplant Program and the staff at Abington Hospital’s Four Widener West Unit. Relatives and friends are invited to share in Linda’s Life Celebration Thursday evening, October 1, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and Friday October 2, 2020 starting 9:00 AM followed by her service 11:00 AM at John F. Givnish of Academy Rd., 10975 Academy Rd., Phila, PA 19154. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA.
