Obituary Leatha A. Fahrner, age 87 of Auburn, passed away Thursday September 10, 2020 at the Toni and Trish House. The daughter of the late Floyd and Phebia (Bates) Schearer was born in Hope Michigan on November 27, 1932. She was a member of Auburn United Methodist Church where she was very involved in many church activities. On November 11, 1950, Leatha married Ronald E. Fahrner and together they owned and operated Tri City Furniture. She and Ron enjoyed traveling together and wintering in Florida. After 63 years of marriage, Ron passed away on March 3, 2013. Surviving is her son, Ronald Lee Fahrner; daughter, Kathy (Lee) Kilbourn; special daughter, Betty Owen; grandchildren, Chad (Karen) Kilbourn, Krista (Justin) Hall; great grandchildren, Roxy, Gunner, Sloane, Owen; sister, Eheda (Richard) Shady. In addition to her parents and husband, Leatha was preceded in death by her sister, June Reid. Per the wishes of Leatha, burial has taken place next to husband in the New Bay Port Cemetery. There will be no other services. Memorials may be offered to the Toni and Trish House. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
